Under general supervision:

  • Assist with/prepares proposals
  • Performs project equipment take offs
  • Follows bid processes
  • Administers service contracts
  • Coordinates material estimated with engineering for procurement
  • Works with outside sales to prepare booking packages
  • Schedules meetings and presentations
  • Organizes and maintains of job files
  • Maintain and organizes literature and presentation material
  • Works with accounting to handover projects
  • Coordinates with operations and engineering

Qualifications:

  • Detail orientated
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to understand and read blueprints – mechanical and control systems
  • Proficient in Adobe, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Dependable work habits
  • Good communication skills

  • Requires an associate’s degree or completion of trade school with three years minimum related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience preferably in the HVAC, building automation or associated manufactures representative business.

Compensation:

  • Paid twice monthly,

Under general supervision:

  • Manages and grows assigned territory or group of accounts.
  • Achieves booking and gross margin goals.
  • Develops and implements plans to take advantage of all sales opportunities for assigned customers or territory.
  • Team sells with other Salespeople & Representatives as appropriate.
  • Effectively performs needs assessments, develops sales proposals, estimates, specifications and presentations.
  • Follows through on sold projects to ensure satisfactory completion.
  • Ensures a smooth sales to operations turnover and monitors project progress.
  • Assists in resolving installation, collections and other customer satisfaction issues as needed.
  • Assists customers and potential customers with problems involving the use of company products and services and recommends suitable resolutions accordingly.
  • Prepares accurate and thorough sales activity reports, forecast reports and expense tracking.
  • Participates in civic and professional organizations, and sales department meetings, workshops and seminars.
  • Keeps current on market business and product trends.
  • Continues to pursue in-depth product, system and service knowledge to acquire deeper selling, technical, and financial skills.

Shall possess a great understanding of the El Paso market, experienced calling on mechanical engineers, mechanical and control contractors as well as end users.

Shall possess a great understanding of the southern AZ market, experienced calling on mechanical engineers, mechanical and control contractors as well as end users.

Reports to Operations/Service Manager


Required Experience: Must have a demonstrated knowledge of building automation [Lon, BACnet, Niagara] as well as electrical, mechanical and test and balance understanding. A plus would include low voltage controls installation and Phoenix Controls programming / start-up. Must possess great customer relationship and communication skills.


Duties:

Provide technical support to clients for products and system represented by Airtelligence.

Diagnose and troubleshoot product and system issues.

Discuss Product Application ideas with clients.

Seek out and develop additional service and product sales opportunities, coordinating with sales.

Accompany Sales Team members to product demonstrations and meetings.

Provide service proposals for service calls.

Execute service contracts and suggest additional services.

Meets with owners to ensure customer satisfaction and review system performance.

Interfaces with manufacturers to resolve service and warranty issues.

Coordinates with accounting to insure billing is timely and accurate.

Maintain tool and repair parts inventory. Ensure all test instruments are calibrated and current.

When required, provide assistance on projects with clients in Arizona and possibly Nevada.
